Cookery Courses in 2008 - £499 per person for parties of 8

3 nights short break incorporating 3 cookery lessons.

Day 1 - you will be collected from Pisa Airport by our driver and taken to our house -A Chele- to unpack and freshen up before the first of 3 cookery lessons. These are lead by 3 vivacious Italian professional cooks, authorities not just on food but also wine, local information and Italian culture. 3 pleasurable hours later you will be able to sit down for the evening and enjoy the food you have prepared accompanied by local fine Tuscan wine.

Day 2 - you help yourself to the continental breakfast provided in the house (cereal, croissants, yogurts, fruit, bread, preserves, fruit juice, tea and coffee) before the taxi takes you into the historic walled city of Lucca with its fashionable boutiques, interesting exhibitions, church architecture and art. After a morning shopping, sight seeing, (and lunch-your choice) a taxi will take you back home to A Chele for the second cookery class. You can spend the evening eating, drinking, discussing what you did and didn't see and buy, and planning for the next day's shop.

Day 3 - After another continental breakfast the taxi will again take you to Lucca, this time perhaps to see the amphitheatre, or the Via Fossa with its canal, the tower with trees growing on the top, the palazzo Pfanner or maybe to rent a bike and cycle around the walls (and there is always more shopping to be done!). After lunch (your choice) the taxi will take you back home again for the third cooking lesson from which the food and wine extend long into the evening.

Day 4 - Another continental breakfast, then the the taxi will take you to Pisa Airport and you can return home to England hopefully refreshed and with a stash of new recipes and skills to amaze and entertain your friends and family!

Accommodation is in twin ensuite rooms . Price includes first lunch at local trattoria, 3 breakfasts, 3 cookery classes to create 3 dinners with wine,taxi transfers to and from Pisa airport and to and from Lucca
