Painting Courses
Watercolour Painting courses at A Chele, Spring and Autumn
Following the success of our 2006 and 2007 Painting courses we are pleased to offer another opportunity to paint in Tuscany from our house. The area has a wealth of interest for the artist, from the undulating hills, olive groves, vineyards and picturesque villages to the medieval towers and walls of prosperous and fashionable Lucca.
The course involves not only painting at the house but also from a selection of the following locations: a local villa and vineyard, a bohemian street, a castellated village, the coastal resort of Viareggio and Lucca itself, surrounded by its stunning countryside.
The next courses for 12 people will run from Saturday 5th April 2008 until Thursday 10th April 2008 and also from 25th October 2008 until Thursday 30th October 2008 includes: -
- Daily watercolour tuition and support for all levels from our resident experts Janet White in April and Bee Morrison in October
- Transport to and from excursions
- Daily continental breakfasts
- 2 lunches
- Daily afternoon tea and freshly baked cakes
- Pre-dinner drinks
- 5 four course gourmet dinners with local Tuscan wine
- 5 nights twin en-suite accommodation (prices based on sharing rooms)
- Transport to and from Pisa airport and A Chele

Bee Morrison- as seen on TV, watercolourist, art tutor, author, painting holiday and art break organiser. Visit Bee's website for further information on art tuition and on-line gallery.
Janet White- an experienced teacher and accredited demonstrator for Windsor and Newton. A past painting tutor for The University of Bath and tutor for Bath Adult and Community Education Services, she works primarily with watercolour and other media.
